Diary

—what’s happening in our village?

To list an event here, simply send brief details to Sara. This diary is just for Chiselborough-related events.

One-off Events:

17-21 April - Easter

The sun is shining, clocks have sprung forward, April has started and the Village Hall committee have been planning some family fun for Easter weekend!

As in previous years, we would love our village to be adorned with outdoor Easter decorations and are asking if you could put up wreaths, bunting, eggs hung in trees, rabbits, hare, chicks etc , in fact any way that you could decorate the outside of your house and garden. All we ask is that your decoration uses sustainable products which means reusable and no plastic.

We would like all decorations to be up by April 17th (Maundy Thursday) as there will be an Easter Trail on Good Friday and Easter Saturday. This is for families to walk around the village, admiring the Easter displays and looking for 12 hidden letters and culminating in a Village Hall gathering on Easter Saturday afternoon (see this poster). Entry forms for the trail will be available to collect on the village hall noticeboard from Good Friday morning.

We do hope that you can join us, with family and friends, to celebrate a fun filled Chiselborough Easter.
